Job Description
As a Software Engineer you will help to expand the data pipelines using open source data processing frameworks such as Apache Airflow.
Responsibilities
- Development of new data pipelines using Python
- Design shared libraries for use with data processing frameworks
- Responsible for ensuring business critical integration workflows and processes are fit for purpose
- Database design and development using SQL and NoSQL databases
Requirements
- AGE: 28+
- PRONOUN: Male / Female
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or relevant IT certifications in Related Field
- EXPERIENCE: 1-3 Yrs in the IT industry
- SKILLS: HTML, CSS, JAVA, frontend and backend experience in any coding application. (React and Node Js preferred)
Also
- Must have a background in software development
- At least 2 Years experience programming (Python and/or Javascript)
- SQL programming experience (SQL, Stored Procs etc.)
- NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Experience with data pipelines, tools such as Apache Airflow useful
- Experience working as part of an Agile software development team
